Ready for pressure-sensitive material

The Dutch company Verschuren Interieurbouw based in Eindhoven employs 50 employees and offers tailored interior design solutions. In recent years, there has been increased use of scratch-sensitive and pressure-sensitive materials, which are produced and cut in-house at Verschuren.

Saw-storage combination for sensitive materials

Whether chipboard, plywood or coreboard panels, hard fibre, MDF or multiplex: Verschuren combines the range of core materials with equally varied and often highly sensitive surfaces such as melamine, laminate, paper, film or veneer. Small batch sizes and increasingly short delivery times have presented the company with enormous challenges in terms of these materials.

Until recently, the Dutch interior designers had been using a four-year-old HOLZMA HPL 11 for cutting, but then decided to invest in a new saw-storage combination because of the advantages this promised. The solution consists of an HPP 380 profiLine, which
is linked to a BARGSTEDT storage system.

HOLZMA equipped the HPP 380 profiLine for Verschuren with the additional Power Concept along with the new Soft Touch package for pressure-sensitive materials and the sensitive surfaces package - for first-class cutting performance.

The advantages

  • fully-automatic waste management, which saves costs
  • scratch-free processing of highly-sensitive surfaces
  • ideal handling of pressure-sensitive material
  • fast processing thanks to the Power Concept
