As a subsidiary of the Stuttgart advertising agents Liganova, Ligaproduction GmbH & Co. KG specialises in shop window displays. Based in Heimsheim in Southern Germany, the company deals with premium customers like Porsche Design, Adidas and the underwear designers Triumph. The demand is for presentation solutions that combine different materials and printing techniques with modern electronics. To construct these, various intricately processed panel materials are required, which the company has sourced for several years. (Pictures: Georg Molinski)

		HOMAG impresses with its overall concept In order to improve value generation, however, the company decided to set up its own production facility with a high-performance saw-storage combination. After researching the competition, Ligaproduction finally found a clear favourite and commissioned the HOMAG Group with the design and implementation of the facility. The result was a fully-automated BARGSTEDT storage system that feeds a horizontal HPP 380 P panel-sizing saw and a WEEKE nesting processing centre for moulded parts. All three core components are specifically tailored to each other. The facility has been running smoothly since its installation in May 2009.
