The first panel-sizing saw from HOLZMA was commissioned by the company as early as 1990. The fire protection specialists then tried out a competitor product, but came back to HOLZMA in 2008. "We chose to come back to HOLZMA because of the excellent service and the fast response times," said Managing Director Jürgen Wied (pictured bottom left). A new HPL 510 profiLine with a saw blade projection of 125 mm and a cutting length of up to 3200 mm was installed. The new HOLZMA passed its 'trial by fire' at Kuhn long ago: The saw, with its automatic lift table feed, works very efficiently, which means a complete shift can be saved.

This includes a significantly stronger blower, improved dust extraction to protect against plaster dust and particularly gentle feed via vacuum suction cups. On top of this, a Soft Touch package ensures gentle handling of the pressure-sensitive fibre panels.
