What sets this furniture collection apart is the quality of design. An example is the "Wogg 49" – a cabinet with sliding door made from an aluminium sandwich panel. The challenge: the door mechanism only functions if the grooves on both sides of the panel are precisely sawn. The company initially used an existing CNC machining centre for the job, but this proved to be extremely difficult and costly. The panel had to be turned some 15 times during the process, which meant a good one and a half hour's work.
With the new HPP 430 from HOLZMA, this work now takes only
20 minutes. The panel is grooved on both sides fully automatically – and only has to be turned once by the operating personnel. This frees up time for other jobs.
