This is why Amsler & Frey have been using cutting technology from HOLZMA for many years – successfully and always benefiting from the latest developments. In March 2009, the company installed the new plastics saw HPP 570 P. The high-performance unit replaces a 10-year-old predecessor model and has impressed with its ample saw blade projection of 170 mm. This means that even 150 mm thick plastic blocks can be easily cut – and almost tear-free thanks to sensors monitoring the cut.
A step ahead thanks to innovative technologies
In addition, floating clamps and an additional side aligning device in the rear machine table ensure precise positioning even with the most challenging materials. In plastics processing, the room temperature also plays a key role. The innovative saw body made from SORB TECH mineral casting ensures minimum production tolerances on the new HPP 570 P. This material expands much less under the influence of heat than traditional steel does and therefore guarantees consistently precise cuts.
