The technology
Cutting and routing in one: HOLZMA combines two different methods of panel sizing; and the location of the router on the saw carriage ensures the perfect interaction of the two. This allows the individual work steps to flow into each other, without any idle time.
The new "adjustable cutting gap" ensures chip-free, precise cuts. Moving the entire support means the cutting gap only opens as far as necessary. It remains very narrow for the normal cutting process and opens to the width of the router during the routing process. This ensures that the material is always optimally supported – giving first-class results.
To cope with the increased amount of dust produced during routing, HOLZMA installed an additional extraction system on the router unit and an on-board extraction hood on the pressure beam.
Waste handling is easy as pie. All waste is removed fully automatically. Trim or waste falls via waste flaps onto a removal belt.
HKL 380 combiLine – cost-effective and fast
The new saw was developed for industrial 1-piece production. It offers flexibility in production and helps reduce storage requirements and stock – attributes that are especially important in these economically difficult times. It also offers speed and cost-effectiveness – HOLZMA is confident that the new HKL 380 combiLine is one of the most powerful units in the 1-piece production sector. On the one hand, because re-cuts are usually unnecessary, which saves a lot of time and extra work steps. And on the other, because the Power Concept offers a huge reduction in cycle times.
True to our core competence
As before, HOLZMA cuts panels using saws. Routing is an additional element, simply designed to support sawing. Therefore, the familiar features – achieved by cutting with a saw – of high speed, precision cutting, low volume of waste, low energy consumption and low tool costs remain unchanged.
Intelligent tool
Right on time for the new HKL 380 combiLine angular saw, the HOLZMA optimisation software Cut Rite is also ready to go. Cut Rite creates cutting patterns specially tailored to the new saw – optimised according to time and/or waste volume.
Equally helpful is the simulation software of the HOMAG Group. It ensures investment security – because it makes accurate, very realistic calculations of performance, based on customer-specific data, at the discussion stage prior to purchase of the saw.
HOLZMA modular system
With its new saw, HOLZMA is primarily targeting industrial enterprises that produce small batches or even batch size 1. But cutting shops also benefit from the new system. The customer can choose from a range of options to specifically tailor the saw to individual requirements. Customers can design their saws based on the HOLZMA modular system.
