HOLZMA is now equipping models of the 3 series with a standy button at no extra charge. This will set all systems to sleep mode. This is ideal for users who don't use the saw around the clock, but who need the saw to be available immediately when needed.
EFF1 motors
All new HOLZMA 3 series saws work with highly efficient EFF1 motors. Compared with normal drives, they are significantly more effective and, as such, reduce CO2 emissions.
Variable speed and maximum power
A frequency converter allows you to adjust the rotational speed of the saw blade to the specific material, which clearly improves the cut quality. A frequency converter is particularly useful when using several different or challenging materials. The disadvantage of this is that the main saw motor is no longer able to supply short bursts of maximum power exceeding the rated kW. Solution: all machines that have a frequency-controlled motor will now automatically** be equipped with a bypass circuit.

Intelligent air tables
The air tables make a valuable contribution to resource efficiency. They have load-dependent fans, which are only activated when the air pressure sensors report that there is material on the tables. The more material, the higher the fan power.
Everything at a glance – with the HOLZMA energy monitor
Anyone that wants to save energy and costs must understand their current consumption. HOLZMA has therefore now added an extra display to the CADmatic operating software – the HOLZMA energy monitor. This shows how much energy your panel-sizing saw is currently using. The most important efficiency parameters are always available at a glance.
Reducing costs with optimal dust extraction
One of the most energy-intensive functions in your organisation is dust extraction. The more specific and targeted its deployment, the more you save. HOLZMA has therefore developed several new solutions for the
3 series. These greatly reduce the energy consumption of the extraction system.
Thin-kerf saw blades
The thinner the saw blade, the lower the energy consumption of the main saw motor. Therefore, If the material is suitable, you should use as thin a saw blade as possible. Comprehensive studies at HOLZMA have shown: If a saw blade with a normal thickness of 4.8 mm is exchanged for one of only 3.8 mm, the required power for a two-metre long cut through a book of 5 x 16 mm thick chipboard panels is reduced by up to 20%.
